Future PLANS

Agriculture, or at least that which is done well, takes time and patience. Our willingness to wait allows us to consider and experiment with new ideas that we hope will transform into concrete results. 

From the barn

Over the last few years we decided to try our hand at making pasta from our wheat. We tried different “recipes” until deciding upon the mix that we currently produce, recognized and appreciated by our regular clients. Soon we will launch new offerings of different shapes! Stay tuned!

We are ready to bottle! Until now we sold our wine in bulk, but the time is right for the first bottled offering of Aglianico del Vulture from Azienda Briola with our label, our logo, our seal, our cork – the first customers will also receive our bottle opener! 

THE WOODS

Finally our focus is on the protection of the woods present on our property. Forenza is one of the towns with the highest percentages of forested land in all of Basilicata and our property is, in large part, right next to these marvelous forests of oak and chestnut trees. Podolic cows graze freely and “taste” our land as well as foxes, badgers, and other wild animals, which ensure that the biodiversity of the land is maintained, while also contributing to the natural fertilization of the soil.
